What Is A Front Facing Camera

Thanks for reaching out to the Surface community. According to your post, you are having troubles setting your front camera. Are you having this trouble with the Chrome browser only?

When you are using Chrome try clicking on the video icon in the browser accost bar.

Have yous tried other apps?

The photographic camera app should permit you to switch from rear photographic camera to front end camera. Delight run across link for assist.

In the camera app it lets me switch. In chrome I click the photographic camera icon only the option is grayd out.

All of these concerns go along popping up well-nigh the "How to make the front end facing photographic camera the default camera on a Surface Pro 3 running Windows 10."

Every moderator response is always app specific which only temporarily fixes the issues.

Later any app or java applet is closed and reopened the back camera is always started again equally the default.

Where is the camera in the settings menu on Windows ten?

Where is a simple much needed option to set the forepart facing camera to default?

Equally a business concern private every fourth dimension I enter an adobe connect meeting the entire coming together gets a picture of my fruit bowl.

This surface was sold to me equally a professional business concern option for an private on the move.

Sharing my fruit basin at the start of every meeting is highly unprofessional and this really needs to get looked at soon delight. Thank you.

There's no way to practise this. You lot could disable the rear camera in Device Director. Or put some electrician's tape over it. Sad.. don't shoot the messenger.
